Instead of handcrafting a motion-graphic prompt every time, we've tuned 30 preset prompts against real premium image-to-video models. Pick a preset, upload a photo, get back a 5–10 second animated clip with the effect baked in. No model juggling — the system routes to whichever model gives the best version of the effect you picked.

AI Video Effects — Pikaffects-style — FAQ

Upload a still photo and pick from 30 cinematic effects — explode, melt, portal, dolly-zoom, glitch, lightning, fireworks, levitate, and more. The AI turns your photo into a short animated clip applying that effect. Similar to Pika's Pikaffects feature.

Your photo becomes the first frame of a video. We send it with a curated effect prompt to a premium image-to-video model (Kling 2.6 Pro, Runway Gen-4, Hailuo 02, or Pika 2.2) which animates 5–10 seconds of motion applying that effect.

VFX generation requires purchased tokens — image-to-video models are expensive to run (~250,000–400,000 tokens per clip). The daily free pool does not cover it. Sign-up bonus credits also can't be used here (grants are for self-hosted models only).

30 presets: Explode, Melt, Portal, Dolly-zoom, Glitch, Lightning, Levitate, Disintegrate, Cartoon, Anime-transform, Time-travel, Mirror-world, Slow-reveal, Rewind, Zoom-blur, Fire, Water, Ice, Smoke, Shockwave, Tilt-shift, Vintage-film, Security-cam, VHS, Night-vision, Thermal, X-Ray, Hologram, Ghost, Paint-splash.

No — each preset already maps to the best model for that effect internally. You just pick the preset and upload your photo.

Cinematic effects (fire, lightning, explode, levitate) route to our premium cinematic model for film-like motion. Artistic effects (cartoon, anime, VHS, hologram) route to an artistic model. Fast snap effects (zoom-blur, rewind, dolly-zoom) route to a fast fluid-motion model. You don't choose — we've A/B tested each preset against each model.

Clear single-subject portraits or product shots. Avoid very busy scenes — the AI needs to understand what the main subject is. Square or landscape framing renders best.

Typically 1–3 minutes depending on the model and clip length. Kling and Pika are the slowest (~2–3 min), Runway is the fastest (~1 min). We stream the result back as soon as it's ready.

Not in one generation — each run applies one preset. But you can pipe the output back in as the input for a second effect to stack them (explode + slow-mo, etc.).

Yes — the "Extra direction" field lets you append details to the preset prompt ("dramatic sunset lighting", "slow motion", "cat as the subject", etc.).

No. Uploads are processed and discarded within minutes. The generated video is kept on our CDN for 24h (7d for paid users) at the share link.
