Registered 501(c)(3) organizations in the US and their international equivalents qualify. You need to provide your EIN or equivalent registration number as proof of nonprofit status.
A grant of 15,000,000 tokens, the allowance of a year of our Pro plan, for every tool that runs on our self-hosted open models; API keys at the Pro request tier (100,000 requests per month); up to 10 team seats; and no credit card required. Premium external models are not part of the grant. They are billed to us per call, so they require purchased tokens.
We typically review nonprofit applications within 48 hours. You will receive an email once your organization has been verified and your accounts have been upgraded.

Yes. API keys at the Pro request tier (100,000 requests per month) are included. Create a key from the developer page after your account is approved; API calls to our self-hosted models spend your granted tokens. If your integration needs higher request limits, reply to your approval email and we will raise them for your key.
If your organization loses its nonprofit status, we will work with you to transition to a paid plan. We provide advance notice and time to adjust your usage.

We may periodically verify your nonprofit status to confirm continued eligibility. This is a simple re-verification and does not require a full new application.
