Rembg is a premium edit model. Cost scales with image size — typically ~500–1,500 tokens per edit. $1 buys 750,000 tokens, so a $5 pack covers hundreds of edits.
Free.ai will not strip a copyright notice or third-party watermark you do not own — both the upload check and the model refuse. You can remove your own watermark or any element you own the rights to.
