The roadmap is updated as features move between stages. When an in-progress feature ships, it moves to completed, and new items are added to planned based on user feedback and internal priorities.
Voice cloning will follow the same token-based model as other tools. There will be a free daily limit for all users, with paid plans offering higher usage. The feature will use open-source models with permissive licenses.
PDF chat lets you upload a PDF document and ask questions about its contents. The AI reads and understands the document so you can get summaries, find specific information, or ask for explanations without reading the entire file yourself.
Dark mode is in the planned stage. It will apply across all tool interfaces and pages. We do not have a specific release date, but it is a frequently requested feature that we are prioritizing.
The planned podcast generator will create complete podcast episodes from a topic or script. It will combine AI writing, text-to-speech with multiple voices, and audio mixing to produce ready-to-publish podcast content.
A Progressive Web App (PWA) is planned, which lets you install Free.ai on your phone or tablet from the browser and use it like a native app with offline capabilities and push notifications.
