MMDiT backbone with a Qwen2.5-VL text encoder grounds edits in vision-language understanding, so prompts like "change only the red car to blue and add a rainbow" preserve everything else faithfully. Self-hosted on Free.ai's H200 (dedicated venv-qwen-image-edit) — the free tier for /image/edit/ prompt-driven img2img / inpaint / outpaint / style_transfer ops. Replaces the older SDXL img2img path for prompt-first editing.
