How to install on your phone

iPhone: Download the M4R file. Connect your iPhone to a Mac (or iTunes on Windows). Drag the .m4r file into Finder sidebar → your device → General → Sync Tones. On the iPhone, go Settings → Sounds & Haptics → Ringtone and select it.

Android: Download the MP3, move it to the Ringtones folder (or anywhere in Music), then Settings → Sound → Ringtone and select the new file.

How to pick a ringtone hook

First 3 seconds matter most

Half the time you answer within 3 seconds. Lead with the hook, not the intro. When trimming, skip the quiet opening bars — start on the drop or the chorus lift.

Avoid lyrics with your name

Personal ringtones feel great until you are in a meeting and it rings with someone else's name 20 dB loud. Pick instrumental sections or non-personal verses.

Loop-friendly ending

iPhones loop the ringtone until you answer. If your 20s clip ends on a hard cliffhanger, the loop thump becomes distracting. End on a downbeat.
