No. Hard policy. Only swap faces of yourself or someone who has given explicit consent. Non-consensual deepfake imagery is a TOS violation, and we auto-detect + ban accounts that produce it. It is also illegal in many jurisdictions: California AB 730 / 602, Texas SB 751, NY GBL section 52-c, Virginia 18.2-386.2, UK Online Safety Act 2023, EU AI Act 2024, South Korea Act on Sexual Crimes, Australia eSafety Act. Penalties include criminal charges + civil damages.

Self-portraits in costumes / period attire / fantasy templates (your own face). Birthday cards with friends-with-explicit-consent. Actor / model audition previews. Concept art with your face as the protagonist (D&D portraits, video-game avatars, comic-book splashes). Memorial restoration where you have family permission. The pattern: your face or written consent.

Source: front-facing, well-lit, eyes open, no sunglasses or hat, clear focus. Target: visible face you want to replace, similar head angle to source if possible. Premium Kontext Pro can handle off-angle source faces; Free Standard works best when source and target faces are roughly the same angle.

Free Standard for one-off legitimate gags / costume previews where exact identity match is not critical. Premium FLUX Kontext Pro (~45K tokens) for natural-looking swaps that preserve your identifying features. Premium Seedream 4 Edit (~78K tokens) for the strongest identity match — best when the source and target have very different head angles or lighting.

Premium models produce natural-looking results 80-95% of the time on clean inputs (front-facing source + good-quality target). Free Standard is closer to 50-70% — more visible blend lines, occasional skin-tone mismatch. Always check the output for artifacts before sharing; never claim AI-generated content is a real photograph.

For video face swap (frame-by-frame), use /video/face-swap/. The same consent rules apply, doubly so — videos are far more convincing as deepfakes and the legal exposure is significantly higher in most jurisdictions.

Currently single-face per swap. The AI detects the most prominent face in the target image and swaps that one. For group-photo swaps, crop each person individually, swap separately, then composite back together in Photoshop / Canva.

Source + target photos are deleted immediately after the swap completes. Output sits on our CDN for 24h (7 days for paid users) so you can re-download from /account/?tab=history. Never used for training. We log abuse-detection signals (NSFW classifier, target-celebrity detection) to enforce the consent policy.

Only swaps of your own face on imagery you own or licensed are commercially usable. Even if technically yours, never use AI face swaps to misrepresent reality (fake celebrity endorsements, fabricated news, false history) — defamation laws apply regardless of how the image was created.
